We had this pound cake at one of our Dish Days and it was sinfully Delish! We needed a last minute
dessert and this the winner. Its really simple and so good.
1 - 8oz cream cheese softened - you can use light if you want
3 c sugar
6 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
4 cups Swan's Down cake flour
Cream butter and cream cheese in a mixer. Add sugar and mix thoroughly. Add the vanilla and the eggs 1 at a time, continue to blend. Add the flour and combine well.
Add the batter to a greased and floured pan.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours in a 350 oven. Check it at an hour with a toothpick.
Use 2, 9 X 5/12 pans.
