For the "Love of the Dish" was again thanks to Facebook. Many of us post food pictures and as time went along and we commented here and there. We began talking about cooking together.
So, "For the Love of the Dish" day was created.
So, "For the Love of the Dish" day was created.
We decided that 4 couples was plenty for round one. The plan was simple, each of us was to bring their recipe printed out with enough copies for everyone, 2 bottles of wine and the ingredients of a recipe we could all learn from and prepare together. We were so excited that we all ended up bringing 2 or 3 dishes to make. Plenty of food and drink! At the end of the day, we had a recipe book, shared some great cooking ideas and tips, polished off 13 bottles of vino and had a GREAT time and made some cool memories!
Here are some pictures from the day-it was so much fun. This first one was the day Pam and I met, Laura we went to high school with and Jeanine is my neighbor.
Of course husbands too-hands on for everyone!!!
